Music Swap

Mmmmkay, so the music swap topic was SVU characters. So the following three songs are ones that I've pretty much been listening to non-stop lately and they remind me of this season's Elliot. You know, the Elliot who's wife's departure has left him Super Angsty and Extra Ragey.

Bullet Proof...I Wish I Was by Radiohead: Wax me/ Mould me/ Heat the pins and stab them in/ You have turned me into this/Just wish that it was bullet proof

Warning Sign by Coldplay: Come on in/ I've gotta tell you what a state I'm in/ I've gotta tell you in my loudest tones/ That I started looking for a warning sign/ When the truth is/ I miss you/ Yeah the truth is/ That I miss you so.

Amsterdam by Coldplay: Come on, my star is fading/ And I swerve out of control/ If i, if I’d only waited/ I’d not be stuck here in this hole.

So, yeah. Angst ahoy. It's my drink of choice when it comes to music. However, just sos you all don't think I'm completely "Tales of Meloncholy Woe" when it comes to music, I give you the following.

Stupid Girl by Garbage: [snicker] I'll give you three guesses as to which character this song refers to. However, if you really know me, you'll only need one.

You Can Leave Your Hat On by Joe Cocker. Dedicated to the many, many hats that wardrobe has graced our screens with on SVU. From the Berets of Legal Incompetence and Borrowed for Unpretty Crying Accessorizing to the Fedoras of Goverment Conspiracies, this show has them all. And the opportunities for snarking on them are priceless. Also, this song recording comes from Joe Cocker Live so I hope you can take your Cocker with a little bit of fan-squealing. And, yep, that came out very dirty and wrong. As was intended.
